Yes, in addition to measuring body temperature, KFT-22 can also measure object and environmental temperature. To enter this mode, please press the "mode" button once when the device is turned on; You will see the LCD backlight and unit symbol start flashing. Aim the thermometer at the object or air to be measured and press the trigger button once. The device will display the result after one second and automatically exit mode after 5 seconds of inactivity.

Q2: How to view previous measurement records?

KFT-22 has the storage function of storing the last 20 measurement records. To access this history, please press the "MEM" button when the device is turned on (but not during the measurement period). Every time the button is pressed, it will cycle through the stored records, displaying index numbers (such as 01, 02) and temperature values. This allows you to easily track temperature changes over time.

Q3: How to switch the temperature unit from Celsius (°C) to Fahrenheit (°F)?

To change the temperature unit, you need to enter the settings mode. Press and hold the "MEM" button for 3 seconds until the current unit symbol (°C or °F) starts flashing on the LCD screen. Once the symbol flashes, press the "MODE" button to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit degrees. Select the unit you want, and after a few seconds, the device will automatically save the settings.

Q4: What does "Lo", "Hi" or "HH" mean on the screen?

These are error codes indicating that the measured temperature is outside the normal range. If the monitor displays 'Lo', it means that the object or body temperature is below the lower limit of the measurement range. If "Hi" or "HH" is displayed, it indicates that the temperature is above the upper limit of the device's measurement capability. In this case, please move the thermometer to a stable environment and try measuring again.
